TOP PERFORMER?
MOTIVATE YOURSELF
Do you have a deep sense that you could do so much more,
but somehow, you just can’t get There?
ARE YOU A TOP PERFORMER but feel that you may have reached your limit?
How do you even know your absolute limit?
Every sportsman knows the importance of the mental game. A lack of self-belief can place an artificial ceiling on your progress. But it is not only in sports, that the right mental attitude is important.
Having the right Motivation is often an issue in the areas of sport, professional development, and in the arts.
There are 3 main Issues here :
-
A limiting self-belief that stops you from improving.
-
Procrastination.
-
Self-sabotage.
The three are very closely linked, and often come as a package. The underlying belief that further progression is not possible for you (for whatever reason) leads to an urge to put things off, and when you do force yourself to act, something always goes wrong because of some crazy small mistake or oversight. Sound familiar?
Which ever of the three presents itself as the major problem, you can be pretty sure the other two are there in the background too.
We all find ourselves in challenging situations from time to time.
When the pressure is on and all you feel like doing is quitting, what keeps you going? Where do you find that small inner voice that tells you ‘you can do this’? And then make it shout it out loud?
