My Story
I began using Hypnosis to help others in 1997. I had always been fascinated with the phenomena of hypnotic trance, even as a child, but in ‘97, I obtained my first qualification with the National College of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, and it enabled me to practice as a therapist.
Since then I have studied a multitude of complimentary techniques including NLP and other 'styles' of hypnotherapy. I also like to point clients towards a mindfulness meditation practice, designed specifically, to quiet the mind and support the work .
Although I have spent much of my professional life working with survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, I now work with all varieties of Trauma and Psychological issues.
My favourite way to work, these days, is an easy conversation style of hypnosis, that encompasses all those ideas into one flowing process.
It's ideal for those who are nervous of the idea of going into a Formal Trance.
My approach to therapy is designed to help you lead a balanced, harmonious life, in a manner of your choosing.
I work in my home city of Nottingham, working face to face with my clients, assisting them to make the positive changes they are looking for.
I'm a bit 'Old school'. I don't like a complicated IT booking facility, or on-line payment methods. I like things simple.
You have a problem? Call me. We can chat for a while, and maybe arrange something.
Simple, right?
And By the way, I hold a Diploma in Hypnotherapy, and I am fully insured to practice Hypnotherapy.
I am registered with the National Council of Hypnotherapists (NCH), and therefore operate within their code of ethics. You can find out more about the NCH here.
